Which Foundry host for a factory that never lags?

Two Foundry plans listed at the same price can deliver two radically opposite experiences: one stays smooth when the base hits hundreds of machines, the other collapses well before. The difference isn't spelled out on the marketing sheet. Here, from most decisive to most secondary, is what really deserves weighing.

The king criterion: per-core clock speed

Foundry's factory simulation (conveyors, refineries, voxel ore veins) is essentially single-thread sensitive: it demands power per core, not an army of slow cores. A Ryzen 9 7950X3D pushed up to 5.7 GHz leaves the old multi-core Xeons of shared "unlimited" plans in the dust. That's factor number one, far ahead of the rest.

RAM sized to the base

  • Starter base, 2-4 players: a modest allocation holds up.
  • Sprawling factory, plenty of machines: memory climbs with the number of buildings, plan for headroom.
  • Large co-op community: step up a notch to absorb both simulation and simultaneous slots.

Anti-DDoS, non-negotiable

A server exposed 24/7 always ends up crossing an attack. Permanent Anti-DDoS protection included in the plan, not as an add-on, is what keeps your factory reachable on a rush night. With Fly-Serv, it covers every server at no extra cost.

A panel that spares you the terminal

A good panel is judged by what it saves you from doing by hand: editing DedicatedServerConfig.json from the interface (see our configuration guide), real-time console and logs, automatic world backups, direct file access.

Delivery and support, the comfort that counts

Demand instant delivery and responsive support. When the server coughs at 10 p.m. mid-session, that's the detail that saves the evening.

The right equation: high-clock CPU + NVMe + RAM tuned to the factory + included Anti-DDoS + a full panel + reachable support. None of these links is optional.

Where Fly-Serv ticks the boxes

That's exactly the spec sheet of our Fly-Serv Foundry servers, from 3,99 €/month, FlyPanel and Anti-DDoS included. To set your budget before deciding, carry on with how much a Foundry server costs, or browse our hosting plans directly.
