How do you configure your ARK Survival Ascended server?

Configuring an ARK: Survival Ascended server comes down to a few key files and parameters that determine the pace of the game. Here are the settings that really matter, and our recommended values for an enjoyable server.

The game-pace settings

• Harvest rate (HarvestAmountMultiplier): multiplies harvested resources. 2 to 3 is a good compromise for smooth progression without trivializing everything.
• XP rate (XPMultiplier): speeds up leveling. 2 suits most tribes.
• Taming speed (TamingSpeedMultiplier): ARK is slow here; 3 to 5 makes taming far more bearable.

• Difficulty (DifficultyOffset / OverrideOfficialDifficulty): determines the max level of wild creatures.

Adding mods
