How to play in convoy on Euro Truck Simulator 2?

Euro Truck Simulator 2's Convoy mode lets you drive together, up to 8 players, in the same shared world. Here is how to launch a session, organize it and get the most out of it.

1. Create or join a Convoy session

From the main menu, click Convoy. You can host your own game or join a friend's. For a convoy that is always available, a dedicated Convoy server that stays online even when you are away is the better choice.

2. Invite your friends

The host invites the other players, the easiest being the Steam invitation. Once connected, everyone shares the same map, the same weather and the same traffic. If you are not sure how the others connect, see How to join an ETS2 server.

3. Set up the session

• Collision damage: turn it on for realistic play, turn it off to avoid fender-benders in town.
• AI traffic: more or less dense depending on the mood you want.
• Number of players: up to 8 in the same session.
• Money and XP: everyone keeps their personal progress.

4. Organize a real group delivery

The most fun part: take the same type of freight, leave from the same depot and drive in single file to the destination. One player can lead the way, the others follow: perfect for trucking roleplay or screenshots.

Tip: keep a safe distance and turn off damage if you are new to playing together. A clean convoy starts above all with good voice communication.
