How to join a Euro Truck Simulator 2 server?

Joining a multiplayer game on Euro Truck Simulator 2 depends on the mode you want: the official Convoy to drive with friends, or TruckersMP for massive community servers. Here are both methods, step by step.

Joining an official Convoy with friends

1. Open the Convoy menu

From ETS2's main menu, click Convoy. You can host your own session or join a friend's.

2. Accept the invitation

The easiest way: ask the host to invite you via Steam. You receive a notification, you click, and you are dropped into their session (up to 8 players).

3. Join a dedicated server

Joining a TruckersMP server

• Install the TruckersMP launcher and connect your account.
• Launch ETS2 through the launcher, then choose a server from the list (Simulation, Arcade…).
• Follow the driving rules: moderation is active on the official servers.
