Joining a Soulmask server: list, favourites or direct IP, which to choose?

Do you have a server address, or just the urge to discover one? Soulmask offers three ways to enter a game, and each answers a specific need. Rather than listing them at random, let's see which one to use depending on your situation, and how to unblock the cases where nothing shows up.

Case 1: you're looking for a public server to discover

Open the server list from the multiplayer menu. It lists official and community servers. Refine with the search by name and the filters (PvP/PvE, region) to target the atmosphere that appeals to you, then join. A protected server will ask you for its password.

Case 2: you come back to the same server every evening

No need to dig through the list every session: add your usual server to your favourites. It stays within a click's reach, ideal for a tribe server you join daily.

Case 3: you're joining a private server among friends

The direct connection by IP is the most reliable here, because a private server doesn't always appear in the public list.

• Ask the host for the exact IP and port of the server.
• Enter them in the direct-connection option of the multiplayer menu.
• Enter the password if the game is protected.

A server that can't be found or refuses the connection almost always comes from a version mismatch between the game and the server: check that both are running on the same patch before suspecting a network problem.
